Single photos and carousels

Copy a public Instagram post link. When the source makes its media available, each carousel item appears separately. Choose the photo or video you want and prepare that item.

File format and image dimensions

Photos keep the file format supplied by Instagram: supported JPG, PNG or WebP files are not converted. Videos stay MP4. The ready popup shows the detected file type and size. Image size depends on the version Instagram exposes. The tool does not invent a higher-resolution original. Downloading an image does not grant permission to repost it; respect the creator and obtain permission where needed.

How to use this tool

Copy the post URL from Instagram. Available carousel photos and videos appear as separate results; you can download each item individually.

  1. Copy the original link

    Use the Share option in Instagram. Make sure the content is public and you have permission to save it.

  2. Check the available media

    Paste the link and choose Get download options. Review the preview and choose the photo or video you want to save.

  3. Prepare, then save

    Choose Download, wait for preparation and select Save file. Temporary file links expire, so save your file when it is ready.

A little clarity before you download

A carousel may contain both photos and videos. Available items are shown separately so you can choose each file. A missing or restricted item cannot be reconstructed from its link.
