An Instagram post can be a single photograph, a video or a mixed carousel. GetMyReel.app separates available items so you can choose the original media you need.
Profile pictures
Use the Profile tool with a username or profile link. A private account may still expose a public profile picture. We fetch that picture without a logged-in account, and do not include private posts or Stories. The downloadable image is the version exposed by Instagram at the time of the request; we do not invent a higher-resolution original.
Photos and carousels
For a photo or mixed carousel, paste its post link. If Instagram makes the media available to the server, each item appears separately. Availability can change when a post is edited or removed.
Stories have extra limits
Stories expire and frequently require an authenticated Instagram session. Anonymous Story access is not guaranteed. If access is unavailable, the tool explains the limitation instead of promising a download. Private posts and restricted-audience Stories are not available through this public tool.
Respect the source
Downloading does not transfer copyright or permission to repost. Keep the creator context and obtain any permission required for your intended use.
